some bite-size wisdom from 12/20/20 me

  • you don’t have to heal alone — and actually, i would encourage you to find the balance in community and in solitude. both matter.

  • holding yourself is important. letting others that you trust to hold you (and who are capable of doing so) is important too.

  • we all have something(s) to heal and it’s okay to seek support whether from a professional or friend or family (or both! or all three!).

  • your well-being matters and you simply can’t do it ALL by yourself.

  • we need each other, and it’s okay to need each other.
